Kingdom Home exists to end child sex slavery through prevention in Uganda. They provide a safe, nurturing environment for children who were once at risk of exploitation, offering not only protection but a place of hope where every need is met. On 14 acres of land, Kingdom Home operates three prevention homes where children live in freedom and safety, with access to nutritious food, education, shelter, and unconditional love.
Founded in 2018 by Matt and Ashley Boyd, Kingdom Home began as a single house serving 36 girls. Today, they have grown into three homes that have cared for more than 156 children. Their mission is rooted in the belief that by meeting children’s essential needs, they can empower the next generation of changemakers within their communities and work toward ending the sex trade. With a devoted team of Ugandan staff, Kingdom Home has expanded its programs to include Vacation Bible School, Young Life gatherings, leadership and career training, music lessons, and joyful holiday celebrations.
Foundation X is proud to support Kingdom Home in their transformative work. Our partnership encompasses managing tax filings, preparing monthly financial statements, and providing strategic financial guidance. In addition to these core services, we hold monthly advisory meetings with key staff to support initiatives such as the annual gala, job description development and hiring, fundraising and donor stewardship, as well as marketing and brand strategy.
